Find Me At His Foot

Jesus and his followers were passing through our town, when they stopped at our door. My sister Martha, opened the door, and became frantic with making everything perfect for Him. I guess I am too naive to understand why everything had to be perfect. I just stayed at the foot of Jesus, and my sister stormed into the room asking the Lord, why does He let me stay by him when there is so much work to be done around the house. He replied evenly, "Mary has chosen what was better, and it will not be taken away from her." I was estatic that he noticed me, and my love for him. I do admit that being at the foot of Jesus is the best thing in the world.

Witnessing Greatness.

My brother has left us. My sister and I are extremely sad. Many family friends came to give us condolences. We saw Jesus walking towards us in the distance and we rushed to him. We told Him that if He would have came, a few days earlier, then our loving brother would not be dead. Even though that was said my sister and I knew that he would still help us. From there we (Martha, Jesus and I) went to the tomb where we buried our brother, Lazareth. We were at the site now were he buried him, and Jesus wept. It was powerful to see how much the Lord cared for our brother. Jesus then commanded, "Move Away this Stone." Some followers moved away the stone, and then Jesus declared "Lazareth, Come Forth." And sure enough there was my brother walking, alive. Everyone was amazed. We all knew the power of the Lord was strong, but to see him raise my brother from the dead, was brilliant. I am delighted, that my brother is back home, and nothing is going to keep me away from the righteousness of the Lord.

What Does It All Mean?

What are dreams and what do the mean? A couple of days ago, I was outside of our house, lying in the field, when suddenly I caught myself in the middle of a daydream. I was dreaming that I was at the marketplace and I bought some perfume. It was strange; I rarely buy anything because of insufficient funds, but I bought it almost on a whim. I held the tiny bottle in my hands, and I felt warm inside. I knew this was going to be used for a special purpose. I arose from my daydream, and ran as fast as I could to the marketplace.
Today Jesus came to our home. I was very excited. I ran into my room, pulled out the tiny glass bottle held it in my hands. I had deja vu. I finally understood what the dream meant. I hugged the perfume close to my heart, then ran outside to greet Him. As soon as He came through the door, I poured the expensive perfume on his feet, took my hair out it's tightly wound style, and wiped His feet with my hair. The friends of Jesus were not happy with this at all, but I did not care. I knew what I was doing, I was showing my devotion to Jesus. Jesus of course stood up for me. He knew that I was showing affection for him the best way I could. From now on I know I am staying at the Foot of Jesus.
